London homes experience steepest discounts since 2009

Homebuyers in London's most exclusive central postcodes are securing typical discounts of more than £350,000 off the asking price of properties as reductions reach their highest level in almost a decade.  In the three months to October, the prices at which homes changed hands in the wealthiest W1 and SW1 postcodes were 13.6% lower on average than the initial asking price, according to the data group LonRes.
